WMBA 2025-26 Fall/Winter Community League (Age 7-18)
The WMBA Community Centre League is a city-wide league where teams compete against other teams from different areas in the city. Players register online for their community centre and teams are formed based on those Community Centre catchment areas. The WMBA adheres to a fair play and zero tolerance model to ensure young athletes are competing in a Fun and Safe environment. Age 7-8 (Co-ed): Winnipeg Minor Basketball
WMBA city-wide program with 1-2 games/week (Saturdays), plus practice
3v3 Cross Court Games
Age 9-12: Winnipeg Minor Basketball
WMBA city-wide program with 1-2 games/week (Saturdays), plus practice
9-10 Boys and 9-10 Girls - 4v4 Cross Court Games
11, 12 Boys and 11-12 Girls - 5v5 Full Court Games
Age 13-18: Winnipeg Minor Basketball
WMBA city-wide program with 1-2 games/week (Sundays), plus practice
5v5 Full Court Games
Fees:
Total League fees are made up of the WMBA league fees ($285) + the individual Oxford Heights Community Club fee of $80.
$80 Jersey Deposit Required by Cheque, Draft or Cash at time of Jersey Pickup. This fee is NOT included in the Registration Fees.
2025-26Spring Season Important Dates:
Registration Opens: Monday, August 18th, 2025
Registration Closes: Monday, September 15th, 2025(Late registrations incur a $50 WMBA late fee)
The WMBA is a city-wide league, so teams will be competing against other teams from around the city, and we attempt to keep games in a central location fair to all teams in the program.
Coaches and volunteers are always needed to help with the program - speak with your Basketball Convenor at registration or contact the WMBA to get involved!

ALL Community Club level participants MUST hand in a $80 deposit cheque for their jersey. Cheque to be post dated to April 30th 2026. When jersey is returned on time and washed, the cheque is given back. If not handed in, not washed, or returned ripped/stained, the cheque will be cashed.
Oxford Heights Community Club is the Transcona area catchment for Basketball through Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association. This includes the following centers as a result:
Oxford Heights Community Club
East End Community Club
Park City Community Club
South Transcona Community Club
Please note: Registration with Oxford Heights Community Club does not guarantee placement on a Transcona team as specific age groups may not support a team being hosted from Oxford Heights, this includes having too many players for one team but not enough for two. In those cases, players may be located in other area catchments to complement player counts such as the following examples:
- Springfield
- Valley Gardens
- North Kildonan; or
- Selkirk
The Fall League age is based on the age the player is as of December 31, 2025
